Bro completely skipped one of the biggest factors: boot space. You can easily fit 5-6 average size trolley bags in sedan’s boot. Modern day’s so called SUV’s fit maximum two
@@nagarjunagilalla7680bruh I am just saying that my Nexon barely fits luggage while the Laura does it comfortably my family actually bought it and resold to my aunt after a few months when we saved enough money to buy a new car
I also bought Honda City and everyone was asking me why I have not taken SUV. My personal reasons, 1. More space compared to Compact SUV 2. Great for long rides 3. Great Fuel economy if you are driving efficiently 4. Good Boot Space for 5 people stuff 5. Ground Clearance issue is overhyped. Not faced any issues in past 2 years of ownership 6. Practical for Family use
Reason for Indians choosing crossover SUVs over Sedans is the bad state of our roads. Sedans keep hitting horrendously big speed breakers or potholes while crossover SUVs don’t face this problem due to higher ground clearance. It’s basically poorly governed state of the country responsible for people moving to SUVs majorly. Sedans by design are much superior than SUVs
that is one key reason which also includes water logging in monsoon creating trouble with lower ground clearance, the other is showoff factor of "SUV".
Three reasons why I prefer SUV : 1. Good visibility of the road. 2. Ground clearance to tackle Indian roads 3. As we become older, getting in and out of Suv is much easier.
But driving wise and mileage wise sedans r more beneficial and never ignore, sedans always have the best boots and space in their respective segments...jab 1990 ka time have maruti 800 raj karti thi jis ki kuch b ground clerance nahi thi phir b log uc ko enjoy karta rahai aaj to phir b roads ki condition 90s sa better hai

I'm proud to have bought Honda City last month! Such a value for money car. Took it on a trip to Mukteshwar, Uttarakhand just last weekend and WOW! This car with CVT not only performed like a champ but in this world of SUVs, it grabbed a lot of public attention too. Truly the best decision I took!
I'm rougly built the same as you but a little ligher and I have to disagree, I push my seat back till the last point and stretch out my long legs comfortably, I also put the steering lower and closer to me. In an suv the my knees sit at an awkward angle and always touch the wheel and steering is set like a bus tilted upwards, its tiring on my shoulders and legs.
Proud owner of VW Jetta and Honda City... Never feel ground clearance issue with my Jetta even on non-paved roads. Also its 2.0 L TDI engine gives me 24 KMPL milage on Highway.
@@lipokyanger7685 I test drove both before buying our car. City's back seat is more comfortable than virtus, handling and engine performance is way better in virtus, but honda's reliability is better with city. So pick your poison
@@lipokyanger7685 Anytime Virtus if you like highway ride and performance. With my city i feel lack of power in some circumstances. Also VW is also reliable if you took care of it properly. I have done 1.2 Lakh Km on my Jetta in 7 years and beside regular maintenance, Tyre, Brakes and some suspension parts nothing is changed. Also Virtus is based on MQB A0 IN plateform which is more suitable for indian roads not like Jetta which imported as CBU unit.
I bought Honda Amaze, All My friends told why you are buying a sedan, My Reasons -------- 1) High Milage [22-24 KMPL in highways, 17-18 In Cities] 2) Best back seat comfort [Sedans are complete family car] 3) No rollover in high speeds. 4) Sedans require less maintenance. 6) Sedans have Big Boot space [420 liters]. 7) Also, with almost 160mm ground clearance it's at par for off-roading too. Only demerit is you cannot carry big things in car things like cycle, like we do in hatchbacks and SUV by folding rear seat.
I also bought amaze cvt last year and It's giving amazing mileage. Its real life mileage is 18.5kmpl considering moderate traffic on highways and in city with higher traffic, 13.5kmpl
I don't carry bicycle everyday in my car. I have a hatchback now, my next one will be sports hatchback like pre-owned Polo GT TSI Manual or i20 NLine Manual. After that some sedan line Genesis G90 if it launches here in Bhaarat. or Hyundai Grand Starex Hybrid Manual or Staria 7 Seater Hybrid Manual.
I have been watching elegant and exquisite sedans since my childhood. Have always been dreaming of buying one. My first car is gonna be sedan no doubt.
There is something about driving a sedan which can't be put into words.. the way it glides on the road and handles on curve is something which only a driving enthusiasts can understand and honestly there aren't many driving enthusiasts in India
One major point ignored is SAFETY. Most accidents in India happens when the car hits truck from behind. SEDANS with it's lower bumper, it goes till the axel and major impact happens around the glass area of Sedans. So even 5 star cars like Virtus Slavia, since the major impact point isn't bumper, it looses on safty points naturally
Sedans over SUVs all the way.... Proud owner of a 2012 Maruti Suzuki SX4 with 1.6L monstrous engine... 12 years on and still gliding over highways like a Queen...A beloved family member...❤❤

I am a 158 cm tall working middle class women. Driving cars has been my hobby since teenage( started learning at slow speed on single lanes in jungles at age of 14years). Now I have to live more in cites. I love all cars expecially Sedans but the whole cites are dug up in Rajasthan. Some speed breakers are so out of shape and high they break my car even if I cross them at dead speed. In monsoon the roads are flooded here. Also married a tall guy whose head and legs need extra space to not feel cramped inside the car. Was hence forced to buy an SUV instead of sedan recently. Of course in SUVs one can feel the power while in sedans one feels comfortable, however in the city traffic all I wanna feel is decongestion and movement of traffic. Also SUVs need more parking space compared to sedans. There is no parking space in Rajasthani cities. People literally park on the road without caring about creating traffic jams. While cleaning the car I can easily clean the top of the sedans and stand on a stool/chair to clean the middle area of the roof. In SUVs I am dependent on the car cleaning boy of the colony whom I have to pay extra every month and I feel helpless when this cleaning boy is on leave and my husband goes out of town simultaneously. Even after standing on a chair I cannot clean the middle of the car roof properly. Sedans are so much easier to clean and park.
Proud owner of VW Virtus. I can definitely tell, the handling/stability of my car is top notch. I have a brezza too at home, it cannot compete in terms of ride, handling/stability performance of a Sedan.
Thank god at least SOMEONE spoke about this. I think every Indian needs to watch this video. Most Indians just want to show-off, with the big car, show off that they have big money, even if it means sacrificing their and pedestrians' safety. I am a Sedan guy, and i always will be a sedan guy
suvs are the only cars suitable for Indian roads. The high clearance and rugged nature is the best thing if u want a car that lasts a long time. If u have the money to change car every few years then sure go for sedan. Only Suvs can survive the terrible Indian roads especially in the rural and district areas.
@GittuS-mr7pr bro xuv 300 is rubbish and your definition of high speed is only 100-120 kmph.... Very nice 😄 My honda city can touch this speed in second-third gear only
Actually slavia and virtus's 179mm GC comes handy in some tricky situation And it doesn't compromise on too much on other aspects, after the launch of slavia the segment is somewhat growing...,other new competitors came and the sedan lineup is pushing now I really love the slavia ❤ for the way it looks❤❤❤
For someone like me from tier 3 city there are certain issues like - Difficult to navigate narrow streets Bad road I had booked ciaz earlier but it was too hectic to navigate through tight streets which are most in my city, thats why compact suv or premium hatchback are the only option left for semi urban towns.
If you are a sensible middle class driver, a mid size SUV or crossover makes more sense. 1. Taller seating position, especially helpful for new drivers. 2. Easy to get in and out especially for elderly. 3. Highways might be better but internal roads still aren't good. High ground clearance always helps there. Sedan has positives but those will only be appreciated by enthusiasts which are not your everyday people.
@abhsk 1. Most new drivers do opt for compact or mid size SUVs because they can see the bonnet. But it doesn't say anything about sensible choice. Just improve your driving skills. 2. Unless you are going for bmw, Ingress and egress in Verna, city, virtus, ciaz are comfortable for elederly. 3. This is in fact the primary reason one should opt for sedans as they glide over bad roads. Companies are required to make stiff suspension for suvs because of the body roll that comes with high ground clearance. This is not the case with sedans. My mom prefers to sit in my verna instead of creta just because of this. Moreover, sedans come 2-3 lacs cheaper than their suv counterparts. What is more sensible now?
Also people argue that internal roads are not that good but in reality it is better than what was 10 years ago yes there might be exceptions heare and there. Only reason i find it to be sensible choice is remote village areas and personal preferences for road presence which you can show to your relatives
1. I am an enthusiast who likes Sedans but my wife prefers SUVs only because of Ingress and Outgress and I agree with her point. 2. Due to the road presence, even the pseudo SUV drivers drive as if they own the road and always suppress the sedans. SEDANS are for gentlemen for sure.
@@akshaykarwal7582Sedans generally suck at ground clearance for any roads except perfect roads. And yes they don’t glide over bad roads at all. Low centre of gravity means with slight undulations the whole body shakes. God forbid if you have to reroute through a rural patch where speed breakers should be called sedan breakers. Their suspension will only perform better where bumps are under an inch. Have experience with Honda City.
Earlier I was fully convinced to purchase ScorpioN 4x2 but later on shifted to Virtus 1.5 which offers better dynamics , ride comfort and stability and the top end costs less than 20lac
@@chadmagnifici2347 space , suspension travel, wheel size all are in favour of SUVs . Idk about you, I am 6feet , my father as well, in sedans aur any smaller car we have problems due to knees bent and lower sitting. With higher sitting the knees are less bent . Then there is headroom problem in lower cars . And then bigger wheels of SUVs don't drop down in potholes as much as a small wheels of a sedan. Further the suspension travel of sedans are way less . The only comfort in sedans is when you are cutting the traffic, changing lanes and directions in fast pace you will have lesser body roll . But I am not a racer to cut everyone to go fast around corners so that's also sorted. Checkout Innova the most sought out car for long travels . I went with salvia as well, with 5 people and luggage, the front bumper scapes at quite places . Even if it doesn't it makes a mark on drivers mins which makes him more cautious and certainly less confident towards tackling uneven roads . This mental state alone makes for lots of uncomfort
I believe when the roads will be fit to be driven, we'll start buying sedans. Also, Crossovers are also value for money considering quality of indian roads.
Indian roads are way better now and will only get better in 2011 roads were not that better but people still bought them now with new expressways and better roads sedan are perfect.
Superb owner here ,been using all sedans till today as sedans are always best option and I feel in complete control of the car. My father had SUV but sold it after the comfort he felt in car. Now he also use sedan only.
Proud owner of a sedan. Happy that Companies still make sedans. Sedans will never die. And if it sells less , the better. At least I'll feel exclusive.
After seeing and experiencing bad roads, I am happy that I chose a Crossover/SUV or high ground clearance car than "Sedan" It's easier to say that "Indians should buy sedans" but road conditions and tax doesn't allow it....
You're right. I was looking at VW Virtus & Tata Safari. Sedans are great cars. I finally bought the Safari because of the size of my family but keeping the Virtus as a final contender was really based on the driving dynamics of sedan. Sedans are still very relevant. It's just that they don't create the hype when compared to compact SUVs and mixed with the less options available in the Sedan market, the customer finally gets an SUV which isn't even a true SUV. Cars like Seltos, Creta, Nexon aren't SUVs...
@@KarmicVagabond yeah that's exact. Even my safari is a front wheel drive but at least it offers great ground clearance, luxury, road presence and decent offroad capabilities. I've been through mud, mountains and light snow. But yeah a complete suv is a different thing.
@@bestofsatish on point bro. They need higher ground clearance and higher seating. But they really don't know what they're missing. You can buy a Verna or a virtus in the price of a creta or seltos. And really telling you, Verna and virtus are superb machines! My friend got a Verna and it drives like however you want it to drive. And in fact virtus comes with 180mm ground clearance. Easy on potholes!
Maybe. Something like raised or higher ground clearance hatchbacks. But not SUVs. Even jimny is an suv because it's capable but then it doesn't look like one. At least an SUV should be able to drive through rough patches, some mud and be able to take on bigger challenges than these quite easily.
I have owned a 2012 Diesel Vento for 9 years now and it has by far the best fuel economy of any of my cars. It gives 20kmpl on daily commutes and more than 25 on Highway conditions, never had a flat tire and the only problem it ever had was a flat battery 7 years ago because I left the parking on for over a week. On the retrospect my 2021 Brezza has fuel economy of 17 on Highways and fits 3 less suitcases and one person less. Also, the power delivery is messed up. Love the video, truly one of the best I have watched addressing this issue.
Also 4th point - boot space. Only 2 problems- underbody scraping due to low ground clearance combined with long wheelbase. And, during heavy rains SUVs might be able to cross waterlogged roads without water getting in engine and cabin, not the case with sedans.
@@daddyboss557 If you’re talking about the real ladder frame suvs like Endeavours, Fortuners, Scorpio N etc. then i agree with you, their water-wading capacity is excellent 100% better than sedans. but this is not the case with the fake subcompact suvs (sub 4m segment), compact SUVs like creta. Nothing is SUVish about these Jacked up front wheel drive hatchbacks. Sedans and Fake SUVs have almost same ground clearance. Sedans have the edge in driving dynamics, comfort, practicality etc.
I had Creta 1.6 diesel manual for 6.5 years! I sold it & bought Honda City V CVT & let me tell you, it makes you feel not only just comfortable, but also you feel the pleasure in driving more n more n more - you would like to stick to it & keep on rolling! Sedan is the best to enjoy driving with comfort! SUVs will always be secondary
The driving experience of a performance sedan like the Honda City VTEC is something no SUV can match, including Mercedes G-Wagon. The solid grip on the road however hard you turn at higher speeds amazes even mature drivers.

To add to the points in the video: 1) The lower center of gravity and seats also make a smoother drive with less jerks 2) SUVs have poorer visibility and more blind spots so that also makes safety lesser

very good researched video, good . keep it up.... i love sedans but due to our quality of roads, i am forced to consider only SUVs. also there aren't too many good options in sedan, hopefully situation changes after sometime
Buying a sedan makes sense today in Indian market due to 3 major reasons 1- Roads quality are very good especially on highway therefore low ground clearance in not a problem. 2- Due to shrinking sedan market you get to have good discounts on great sedans. 3- Luxury brand sedans are truly gorgeous as compared to their SUV counterparts, there better composed and feels luxurious.
Sedans are a good choice if you’re a young adult or a young couple in the city. But 80% of Indians are living in rural areas and most of them only have 1 car for whole family so a suv gives them more benefits like more ground clearance on bad roads, easier for elders to get in and out of, more trunk space, can fit more people in the back seat….
Sorry to disappoint you, u shld go out more ofter India isn’t living in rural with 80%. I have verna 2018 bs3 model never felt these issue and all these never touch my bump. I can still take 150+ like a piece of cake. And car depends on how many family user and members u have we are 4 members nd 3 at back can sit more cofy than any suv right now. If u have 6-8 than definitely compact suv or sedan isnt gud for u.
The reason what you mentioned are more sensible for advanced countries which have great roads even with in the city and not just higways. Indian roads is major factor that Suvs is preferred more than sedans.. if u r looking for the best driving experience, high speed, cornering yes sedans are the best but in terms of practicality suvs r take over a edge with better suspension, ground clearance. biggest reason is you dont know when u will bump in to a pothole in our roads.. suvs can absorb them much better.. next will be suv s are easy to judge n drive as you seat is higher u ve much better visibility, as we know we drive in a bumper to bumper traffic condition.. often we need to take close calls with less than half feet judgement which is makes suvs easier to drive.. for example driving a toyota fortuner in a road of 15 feet is much easier than driving a honda city or verna bcoz of the high seat riding position in suvs for better judgement and visibility.. considering the road, traffic and family size suvs are more practical for indian roads n families.
Drive a sedan and an suv back to back on bad roads. There is a huge difference in comfort. My verna eats all bad patches like a charm, practically glide over them. On the other hand, my wife has creta and I could feel the bumps and body roll. Unless you are living in a remote village with no roads whatsoever, sedans are perfectly suited for Indian cities. Sedans are in general more practical. Airy cabin, plush ride, low ground clearance ( yes its a plus, higher ground clearance comes with annoying body roll ) I have both suv and sedan, and I highly suggest everyone to go with sedans. True driving pleasure!
I live in Bangalore.. even if u r living in a city you often end up in a situation where you don’t find roads or ppl call it as a road but actually you don’t see it as one.. sometimes even your google map will suggest u that as a road to take.. ha.. ha.. anyways jokes apart.. I drive a Toyota fortuner and also own a VW Vento.. I have done all India round trip in my fortuner for 14 days.. I could do it with confidence n comfort bcoz it was an suv.. personal choices differs but in terms of practicality I would still vote for suvs for Indian roads.. unless you r driving in countries with well organized with zero potholes.. it might do the job for you but we cannot generalize it..
Driving and parking sedans in Indian cities and towns is very tough because of long boot, low ground clearance is hassle because of Indian road conditions
@@itsmayankshukla My guy, that's not a want. That is a choice. The pseudo SUVs are as long as the equivalent sedans. There is literally less than 20cms difference between creta and Verna, elevate and Honda city
Nope there is no scraping in Sedans like VW Virtus, Skoda Slavia (179mm). Ground clearance is more than enough. They have the same ground clearance as So Called fake SUV - XUV 300
Bhai you forgot the most important factors... ROADS, ROADS, INDIAN ROADS.. If I am driving in Gujarat, I feel sedan is best but I have to drive in Bengaluru where SUV is must.
8:59 but that comes at the cost of driver safety. Due to that, the car is intentionally made weaker with crumple zones. And that is why those driving full size SUVs and pickup trucks have higher chance of surviving an accident.

Sorry but the high ground clearance is awful. The fuel tank is visible from the back and the whole rear looks jacked up. There is no other country where a sedan is sold with 179mm of GC and is marketed as an advantage. And they shoud've provided an NA engine instead of a shitty 3 cylinder.

i deny your point on 360 camera on sedans .. we don't need 360 camera because your sitting position is low , sometimes even lower than some hatchback's in market , your field of view is prettymuch good /wide . I own Slavia clocked 2500 kms never felt it needs even rear camera at all . i've even driven it in small roads of old delhi and kailashpuri too it was easy .. while on our hunt of new car we did test drive of many cars (ELEVATE, KUSHAQ, TAIGUN, NEXON, MAGNITE,brezza ) while test driving nexon new facelift has 360 on highway drive it feels more Distraction than safety, to simplyfy it is a distraction.
1. 15 years back roads were bad and people preferred sedans and hatch backs over SUVs Now roads are betters but SUVs are market leaders, 2.SUVs are expensive due to r&d cost.. 3.These car companies wants you to upgrade to their new products every 7/8 years just like EVs now,They make compelling selling point. 4. Only advantage of suv over sedan is space and ground clearance. 5.how many people really go to office roading just less than 1%.
My first car is Skoda Slavia and I can assure you as an average indian buyer and a newbie care enthusiast a sedan is far better than so called fake compact suv selling here in India. Comfort 💯 Safety 💯 Bootspace 💯 Handling 💯 Class💯
I love Sedans , they are the truest forms of cars in my opinion, and I love that you finally spoke about it. The pros of a sedan far outweigh the cons for me.
I think Indian govt should start imposing tax on cars not just on basis of its length which is the case now, govt should also consider the ground clearance of car like in USA & Europe i.e. higher the ground clearance higher the tax this will discourage SUV's. SUVs are less efficient and also not safe for others.
What kind of shitty logic is this? If this is the way you want to go then why not introduce additional tax on sporty/performance based sedans/hatchbacks ? Then we should probably ban trucks. Cars have a purpose based on which one should decide the type. Its the affluent who are buying SUVs (proper SUVs) in India, you are not going to discourage people from buying SUVs by increasing taxes.
Taxation on the basis of ground clearance 😂😂, as if our country has silky smooth roads.. Do you understand why companies give higher ground clearance? Because our roads are not the best hence for better ride comfort higher ground clearance is must.. Now you want the government to take that away by taxing it? New sub 4 meter cars are the product of our road condition and buyers choice.. Don't expect the government to make laws because you don't like this segment... Ridiculous idea..
I was, am and will always be a SEDAN GUY I shall still tell you few key points why sedans still make sense: 1. Irony is...when Sedan market was on prime in India (2000-2015)..the road conditions and highways were quite pathetic when compared to what we have today. So those who justify high GC bcoz of road conditions is completely pointless. 2. When travelling long distance on highways..500km+ What would u prefer traveling on a chair or a Sofa..Sedans have sofa feel to them..whereas all SUVs have bench like seats which arent that comfortable. 3. High speed stability, better fuel efficiency, Less chance of Rollover, better handling and aerodynamics all favour Sedans. 4. More boot space, spacious interiors and cushion seats make Sedans a great family car. 5. The so called buffed up crossovers FWD pseudo SUVs cant even do offroading of any sort..and only 5% do the real off-road shit which is catered by Thar and proper 4x4 vehicles. Also they use diesel fuel engines which are noiser, require more maintainance and higher NVH levels. So for me..i would rather prefer buying a used (2nd Hand) City/Verna/Ciaz than a new expensive hatchback or pseudo SUV
There is a different( beautiful) feel to watch a sedan like honda city travel on road which no suv can ever match.

Exactly, i feel if the overall road conditions becomes better, Mahindra company might go bankrupt
The real reason is low self esteem
Also parking of sedans is more cumbersome than shorter suv s especially in small places like apartments.
@@VEE727Tere baare me nahi poocha.

1. Good visibility of the road.

I bought Honda Amaze, All My friends told why you are buying a sedan,
My Reasons --------
1) High Milage [22-24 KMPL in highways, 17-18 In Cities]
2) Best back seat comfort [Sedans are complete family car]
3) No rollover in high speeds.
Ground Clearance is poor
Mileage is below 14 in City
I also bought amaze cvt last year and It's giving amazing mileage. Its real life mileage is 18.5kmpl considering moderate traffic on highways and in city with higher traffic, 13.5kmpl
Also, ground clearance is 170mm

Good reasoning

For someone like me from tier 3 city there are certain issues like -
Difficult to navigate narrow streets
Bad road
I had booked ciaz earlier but it was too hectic to navigate through tight streets which are most in my city, thats why compact suv or premium hatchback are the only option left for semi urban towns.
Their suspension will only perform better where bumps are under an inch.

Then there is headroom problem in lower cars . And then bigger wheels of SUVs don't drop down in potholes as much as a small wheels of a sedan. Further the suspension travel of sedans are way less .

Canada's roads are worse than India's roads. Potholes and crackes everywhere
If it rains in Gujarat then there will be too much water on road so we need SUV which has better ground clearance
Driving and parking sedans in Indian cities and towns is very tough because of long boot, low ground clearance is hassle because of Indian road conditions
I have a Manza which has run 1lakh 40 thousand kms and have not scraped even once in village roads.
These are main reasons that people are shifting towards high ground clearance cars. For most people choosing sub SUV is a need more than a want.
I live sedans more than SUVs but people have gone crazy about the later.
You helped a lot with my purchase...thanks bro ❤
Bhai you forgot the most important factors... ROADS, ROADS, INDIAN ROADS..
If I am driving in Gujarat, I feel sedan is best but I have to drive in Bengaluru where SUV is must.
Also, in the worst road conditions, SUVs are the best
8:59 but that comes at the cost of driver safety. Due to that, the car is intentionally made weaker with crumple zones. And that is why those driving full size SUVs and pickup trucks have higher chance of surviving an accident.
Best thing for Bengaluru is an Activa
What Gujarat roads you are talking about? 🤣 Ahmedabad is a 3rd class city...small city with worst drivers who have no civic sense and no rules followed. Full of dirt, dust, pollution and heat. Only gandhinagar is a little better. For Gujjus like us....Bangalore is a heaven. If you don't like to go to foreign countries then Bangalore is the place. We gujjus come here and use the best facility and lifestyle in Bangalore and earn good money and then complain. We should not be so shameless...already we are losing our image.
@@1andtheOnly which part of Bengaluru bro?? Looks like you're not paying 7000/month for basic infra like water and drainage, your hair might not be going, your bathroom doesn't use STP and hard water. Good bro, interested to know which part of this Bengaluru it is.
6:57 its not the top speed of the stock car, its the capability of the tiers to achieve that speed after some tunings and upgrades

OMG one of the best car explained video ever! i never ever was a fan of a sedan, i always find getting in and coming out is always a difficult , yet you convinced me with your research , my next car would be a sedan , my friends will have be super surprised when i buy a SEDAN, good job bro, this is what i say friends do your home work well when you post a video, perfecto! my longest comment ever i guess
You should be given an award for this video. Loved it.👏

I think one hidden reason of not opting sedan is judgement. People are not very skillfull this days. They need 360 deg camera; front parking
Kuch acha quality content dundh raha tha, notification pe apka video aagya!
Well put together...nothing can come close to the comfort, ride quality , dynamics of a sedan...I own Virtus 1.O TSI ..its great!
Brilliant channel, why didn't I come across your channel earlier. Keep up the great work.
I really like his in-depth view and analysis in every single topic that this channel post's!
Keep up the good work guys!
Well, I love sedans too! We had Volkswagen Vento great car with great expensive maintenance.Yet, I have to get a mid-suv or a suv soon for my family just because of the ground clearance issue.
My dream is to know about sedans thanks❤❤❤
Well said brother. I myself drive a skoda slavia and I never regretted my choice.
I'M A PROUD HONDA CITY OWNER ....i personally live in himachal and honda city is very unique on turns I personally make turns at 80kmph
You cannot make a 90 degree turn at 80 kmph unless in a F1 car.

After a long time this video really satisfied me the core as it has make perfect sense in the context discussed, otherwise videos these days are full of non sense information that is not required to be consumed by many of us
True ..I'm driving Skoda Octavia 2023 & it's an amazingly powerful & stable car on the road !! It took me 1yr to pick/choose this car & am very happy abt it. It's not like Slavia though (sedan), but it is more of a Coupe.
Wonderful video, to the point, crisp and scientific! Thank you
Practicality slavia can be considered as perfect sedan in 2024 (good ground clearance, better mileage and service package)
Vento is better
@@raunaqsapra7160some people cry about the road conditions,GC and still talk sh*t when companies give what they asked for..... You don't even make sense
I've Honda City.

I hope U were talking all this science with scientific evidence.

I am subscribing You Dear 😊❤
👍 good analysis with scientific facts.
personal point of view that If mid budget sedans also start providing 360° cameras like entry level so called SUVs, then many people will go with sedans who are not going with sedans just bcoz of driving judgment problems.
i deny your point on 360 camera on sedans ..
we don't need 360 camera because your sitting position is low , sometimes even lower than some hatchback's in market ,
your field of view is prettymuch good /wide .
I own Slavia clocked 2500 kms never felt it needs even rear camera at all .
i've even driven it in small roads of old delhi and kailashpuri too it was easy ..
while on our hunt of new car we did test drive of many cars (ELEVATE, KUSHAQ, TAIGUN, NEXON, MAGNITE,brezza )
while test driving nexon new facelift has 360 on highway drive it feels more Distraction than safety, to simplyfy it is a distraction.
360° camera for noob drivers.noobs pls stay away from all cars at all cost.
1. 15 years back roads were bad and people preferred sedans and hatch backs over SUVs Now roads are betters but SUVs are market leaders, 2.SUVs are expensive due to r&d cost..
3.These car companies wants you to upgrade to their new products every 7/8 years just like EVs now,They make compelling selling point.
4. Only advantage of suv over sedan is space and ground clearance.
5.how many people really go to office roading just less than 1%.
One more good thing about sedans
in a collision from back, the boot can crumple which ensures better safety inside the cabin
Very nice video. Biturbo has improved over the many years. The graphics are also very good

Indian ke road conditions ke hisab se SUV hee thik hai
I love Sedans , they are the truest forms of cars in my opinion, and I love that you finally spoke about it. The pros of a sedan far outweigh the cons for me.
I think Indian govt should start imposing tax on cars not just on basis of its length which is the case now, govt should also consider the ground clearance of car like in USA & Europe i.e. higher the ground clearance higher the tax this will discourage SUV's.
SUVs are less efficient and also not safe for others.
Then people will go back on buying Hatchback
Iske khud ke body wt pe bhe tax lagao phir😂
@@rhythmkhandelwal2940 ....hatchbacks are safer than than SUV's in case of accident for the pedestrians, its an established fact.
sir apne jo speedometer dikhaya he honda city ka diesel car ka he or elevate ka petrol ka he to shayad isi vajah se to speed different nai he ?

I was, am and will always be a SEDAN GUY
I shall still tell you few key points why sedans still make sense:
Great video bhai very informative. Keep it up. 🍻
